Guilds is a community-driven platform for discussion with minimal algorithmic manipulation — not one built to maximize engagement. It includes discussions, photos, questions, and long-form articles styled as “Manuscripts.”
Longer term, Guilds is built toward decentralized community governance and self-sustaining operation — a free speech ecosystem where individual guilds set their own standards rather than one central authority.
The remarkable thing about Bernini is that he somehow made marble look temporary. You look at his sculptures and the material itself almost disappears. Stone becomes skin, fabric becomes cloth, and an expression carved centuries ago still appears to be happening in front of you. There are very few artists for whom the distinction between sculpture and life seems so thin.
